Alicia’s Story

Posted by Admin on April 23, 2010 - 0 Comments

Alicia Parlette, a staff writer at the San Francisco Chronicle, died yesterday. Alicia was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at age 23 and died yesterday at the age of 28. She used her job at the Chronicle to write about her experience as a cancer patient. One of her last wishes was to turn “Alicia’s Story” into a comprehensive book.

The story begins at sfgate.com/Alicia. There’s also msparlette.com, the Friends of Alicia Facebook page, and twitter.com/AliciaParlette.
