Social Worker in New PBS Series
Mary Ann Becklenberg, MSW, LCSW is a social worker who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at the age of 61. She eventually quit her job and became a leader and advocate for those living with the disease.
There is a new PBS series called Life (Part 2) and Mary Ann Becklenberg is featured in this episode. Via Social Workers Speak.

As the daughter in law of someone with dementia, my heart aches watching this clip. I think Mary Ann and her family certainly show the human side of this terrible disease.
